Tanzanite Care
The Tanzanite Gemstone is a 6 - 7 on the Moh's Scale of Hardness. It is a good gemstone for use in pendants and earrings, and nice in rings where the Tanzanite is well protected from sharp blows. Tanzanite is easily scratched and chipped. Clean your tanzanite with warm, soapy water and a soft bristle brush. Avoid using ultrasonic cleaning. As with all gemstones, care should be taken to protect your Tanzanite from scratches and sharp blows.
