Sunstone Care

The Sunstone Gemstone is a 6 - 7 on the Moh's Scale of Hardness. It is a good gemstone for use in pendants and earrings and fine in rings where the Sunstone is protected from blows. Sunstone are easily scratched or chipped. Avoid sharp and sudden blows to your Sunstone. Clean your Sunstone with warm, soapy water and a soft bristle brush. Avoid using ultrasonic cleaning.
