The Sapphire Gemstone is a 9 on the Moh's Scale of Hardness. It is a durable gemstone for use in rings, pendants and earrings. Sapphires may be cleaned with warm soapy water and or an Ultra Sonic machine. As with all gemstones, care should be taken to protect your Sapphire from scratches and sharp blows.
