Peridot Care
The Peridot Gemstone is a 6 - 7 on the Moh's Scale of Hardness. It is a good gemstone for use in rings,pendants and earrings. Peridot is easily scratched and chipped. Clean your Peridot with warm, soapy water and a soft bristle brush. Avoid using ultrasonic cleaning, Aviod temperature extremes. As with all gemstones, care should be taken to protect your Peridot from scratches and sharp blows.
